CREDAI Mangalore was honoured to participate in Mangaluru Urban Dialogues 2026, a prestigious forum organized by The Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), Mangaluru–Manipal Centre, on 22nd May 2026 at Ocean Pearl, Kodialbail, Mangaluru.
The event brought together leading architects, urban planners, policymakers, developers, and industry stakeholders to deliberate on the future of urban development and sustainable growth in Mangaluru. The discussions focused on key aspects of city planning, infrastructure development, urban mobility, environmental sustainability, and collaborative approaches to shaping the region’s urban landscape.

The leadership of CREDAI Karnataka, along with representatives from various city chapters across the State, had the privilege of meeting Shri. D.K. Shivakumar, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka, at Vidhana Soudha, Bengaluru, on 08th June 2026.
The delegation was led by Mr. Bhaskar Nagendrappa, President, CREDAI Karnataka, and included Mr. D.B. Mehta, President-Elect, CREDAI Karnataka; Mr. Zayd Noaman, President, CREDAI Bengaluru; Mr. Vinod A.R. Pinto, President, CREDAI Mangalore; along with other office bearers and representatives from various CREDAI city chapters across Karnataka.
During the meeting, the delegation extended its heartfelt congratulations to the Hon’ble Chief Minister on assuming the leadership of the State and conveyed its best wishes for a successful tenure.
The delegation also expressed its willingness to work closely with the Government in addressing industry concerns, streamlining regulatory processes, and fostering an environment conducive to responsible and planned development.

The meeting was attended by Ms. Hemalatha Channabasappa, Team Leader & Policy Expert, IPE Global; Dr. Vishruth K.V., Planning & Procurement Expert, IPE Global; Mr. Gaurav Hegde, Secretary, Coastal Karnataka Tourism Development Council (CKTDC); Mr. Sharan Shetty, CEO, CKTDC; and Mr. Mukesh S., AVP, Silicon Beach Program.

CREDAI Mangalore actively participated in the Outreach Programme “PRARAMBH 2026” organised by the Office of the Commissioner of Income-tax (TDS), Panaji, in association with the TDS Circle, Panaji and TDS Wards, Mangaluru, on the subject of TDS provisions under the Income-tax Act, 2025.
The programme was conducted on Thursday, 21st May 2026, from 3:15 PM to 5:30 PM at ICAI Bhavan, 2nd Floor, Mahendra Arcade, Mangaluru.
The session was graced by the presence of Sri Suresh Kumar C B , IRS, Additional Commissioner of Income-tax, Ministry Of Finance Department, Department Of Income Tax, India. The technical session was delivered by Sri Naveen Kumar S, IRS, Deputy Commissioner of Income-tax, TDS Circle, Panaji, who provided valuable insights into the updated TDS provisions, compliance requirements, and practical aspects under the Income-tax Act, 2025. The outreach initiative aimed to enhance awareness and strengthen stakeholders’ understanding of tax deduction at source provisions and related procedural compliances

CREDAI Mangalore, in association with Father Muller Medical College Hospital (FMMCH), organized a free medical camp for construction workers, providing screenings, routine investigations, medications, and subsidized advanced services. The event, presided over by Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho and addressed by D. B. Mehta and Kumar B.R., emphasized workers’ health and statutory responsibilities. Initiated by Dr. Anil Shetty and Dr. Errol Pinto, over 400 workers benefited, and CREDAI and FMMCH pledged to continue such healthcare initiatives.

Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Darshan H.V. announced that the State Tourism Department is preparing a special tourism policy for coastal development, highlighting that Mangaluru has strong potential to become the next rapidly growing city in Karnataka after Bengaluru. Speaking at the CREDAI Mangalore 2025–27 installation ceremony, he urged greater local investment and assured administrative support. CREDAI Karnataka president Bhaskar T. Nagendra installed the new office-bearers, including president Vinod Pinto and state unit president D.B. Mehta, with other key members assuming their roles.

CREDAI Mangalore has partnered with Section Infin-8 Foundation (SI-8) through an MoU to introduce new technologies and sustainable practices in Mangaluru’s real estate sector.
